As early as 1920, the leading Swiss physician A. Vogel had found that drinking large quantities of coffee had negative health effects. In the 1950's he perfected his own unique recipe of Bambu which is the world's most famous coffee substitute. Bambu® is a fragrant and fully water-soluble coffee and fruit substitute.
